Daniel Tigges
The Tigges Architekt studio, headed by Swiss Daniel Tigges, is based in Barcelona and is characterized by the fusion of contemporary design and sustainable construction. The office's projects are meticulously planned to meet the highest energy standards and comfort requirements. His work has been awarded, published and certified with low energy standards. The most outstanding works are the Waldorf School in Bellaterra, the Minergie certified town house Can Titella in Barcelona and the passive house certified Casa-P in Girona. Daniel Tigges is an architect with a degree from the University of Applied Sciences of Northwestern Switzerland and a master's degree in architecture, energy and the environment from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. His lecturer activities have brought him to various universities and further education centers in Switzerland, Spain and the USA, and he is Minergie certifier in Spain.
