The greenhouse effect of our atmosphere makes life on earth possible. Unfortunately, the man-made amplification of this effect threatens our future. In this project, the greenhouse effect of the building envelope is used positively to heat the living spaces in winter with free energy. An ingenious shading concept with active and passive elements largely regulates room comfort in summer.
